The British Broadcasting Corporation (otherwise abbreviated to BBC) is a UK-based broadcasting corporation.

Founded in October 1922 by John Reith,[1] the BBC services several countries with a number of television stations. It is funded by the licence fee, which every television owner must pay for.[2]
